BLOOD SPILT AFTER CASH TRUCK ROBBERY

ONE man was killed and another arrested on Tuesday morning after a Fidelity Guard vehicle was robbed on the Dundee road in Nqutu, northern KwaZulu-Natal police said. Captain Buhle Ngidi said the security vehicle was forced off the road and a large sum of money stolen. Four armed men then got into a Toyota Cressida and fled. Dundee police gave chase for about 35km, before the Cressida collided with another vehicle and overturned. Two of the men were thrown out of the vehicle and seriously injured, one of them later dying in hospital. The other two men managed to escape. – Sapa
