A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by five youths at Bulwer in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands last week, south coast police said on Tuesday. Police representative Inspector Moses Gambushe said the girl was walking near the soccer field where a number of youths played soccer. Five of them, aged between 15 and 20, approached the girl, their faces masked with handkerchiefs. The girl was pulled into a nearby bush where she was allegedly gang raped. Meanwhile Durban south police were investigating the rape of two children, aged four and six years at Umlazi. They were allegedly raped on their way home after a neighbour called them into his house. – Sapa
