THE bodies of two children were found in a large ditch filled with rain water in Vuwani, Thohoyandou on Tuesday evening, Northern Province police said. Captain Ailwei Mushavhanamadi said the children had gone out to play earlier in the day. ”The siblings, a 12-year-old girl and her five-year-old brother were discovered hours later by passers-by. The kids were apparently playing around near the water when they decided to swim and allegedly drowned.” Mushavhanamadi said an inquest docket was opened. – Sapa
