WEST Rand police were on Saturday investigating a murder case after a truck driver found the body of a 10-year-old girl on Hammer Road at Boltonia on Friday night, police said. Inspector Yolande Bouwer said the truck driver contacted police after he found the body of Joey van der Merwe. Her jacket and schoolbag were found further along the road. Bouwer said the girl, a pupil at a Krugersdorp school, had no visible injuries. A post mortem will be conducted. – Sapa
