A 13-YEAR-old boy was arrested on Saturday morning for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl in Kwazakhele township, Port Elizabeth, on Friday, police said. Superintendent Charmain Momberg said the toddler’s mother left the girl with her elder daughter and went to work. On Saturday morning, she discovered that the toddler had been raped and took the child and the boy accused of the rape to a police station. Momberg said it was also alleged that five other children had witnessed the incident. The condition of the child was not known. Police were still investigating the matter. – Sapa
