Johannes Kerkorrel’s mother, Anne Rabie, had the Afrikaans musician’s body exhumed and secretly re-buried early on Wednesday morning at Somerset West, Beeld reported.
Kerkorrel (Ralph Rabie) was originally buried on Saturday at Kleinmond, in the Western Cape.
Kerkorrel committed suicide last Tuesday at his home near Kleinmond. Kerkorrel’s family issued a media statement saying personal and private considerations were the reasons for the reburial.
”The family trusts that these circumstances will be respected by everyone,” the statement read.
