Uitenhage man charged with raping his toddler

A 49-year-old unemployed man appeared at Uitenhage Magistrates’ Court on charges of raping his eight-month-old daughter, SABC television news reported on Monday.

He allegedly raped the baby while she was left in his care and the mother was visiting neighbours.

The man was denied bail and would appear in court next Monday - Sapa
