Two people were killed and 14 others seriously injured on Monday morning when a minibus taxi rolled on the N1 highway at the Rivonia off-ramp near Sandton, Johannesburg Metro police said. Representative Wayne Minnaar said the injured, 10 men and four women, were taken to the Sunninghill Hospital. The taxi driver and a male passenger were killed in the accident. Minnaar said a burst tyre could have been the cause of the accident, which occurred on the northbound carriageway.- Sapa
