SENIOR AIRPORTS COMPANY EMPLOYEE TO BE DEPORTED

AN AIRPORTS Company senior communications official arrested for fraudulently acquiring South African citizenship, will be repatriated in March, said Home Affairs. A representative from the Airports Company said Mazwamahle Albert Mathiwaza, who is a Zimbabwean national, was arrested on Thursday, February 20. Mathiwaza, who also went by the name Mazwamahle Ndlovu, was released from custody at the Atteridgeville police cells in Pretoria last Thursday after paying a R1500 fine. ”Section 41 of the Aliens Control Act, 1991, as amended in 1998, gives a prohibited person 14 days to wrap up her/his private business before she/he leaves for her/his homeland,” the department said in a statement. Mathiwaza will be repatriated on March 14 and would travel to her homeland, Zimbabwe, at her own expense. – Sapa
