THE Johannesburg City Hall is to be sold to the Gauteng Legislature for R20-million, the city’s metropolitan council’s property management company, Johannesburg PropCom, said on Wednesday. The sale of the city hall is one of a number of projects the company has embarked on recently. Mayor Amos Masondo said the sale of the city hall would generate a R60-million investment by the legislature over the next few years. The public would also retain access to the facilities at the city hall. – Sapa
