Sally Burdett joins Fairlady

Journalist and SA Broadcasting Corporation television and radio personality Sally Burdett will join Fairlady as consumer editor from February.

The move to print marks a significant change in Burdett’s career from radio and television news.

She became known for her contribution to AM Live on SAfm and on One o’Clock Live and as a news journalist and television news presenter on SABC3. ”I’ve been in broadcast journalism for the past 14 years, and although I love radio and television, I want to broaden my skills base,” she said.

Asked about her new career move she said: ”I’m thrilled to make the move to Fairlady. I’m looking forward to asking new questions, learning and growing on the way and bringing important, relevant information to the readers.”

Fairlady editor Ann Donald said: ”Active consumerism is very important and we want to empower our readers to become better consumers so we looked for a strong personality with sound credibility.” – Sapa
