South African devised change and innovation management software is now being used by Deckert Management Consultants of Düsseldorf, Germany.
The Eden software environment was developed by Indutech (Pty) Ltd — an offshoot of the University of Stellenbosch’s Global Competitiveness Centre — to support a multi-disciplinary team through a variety of change programmes within a company. Current users include the Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC) and universities in the Netherlands, Germany, France and the US, while the CSIR is currently evaluating the programme.
“The latest development is part of our focused strategy to develop world-class software for use in modern globally competitive environments. We are delighted that a German firm has adopted the programme,” said Indutech chairman Niek du Preez.
Prof Du Preez and Indutech’s head of consulting, Morné Weyers, spent the last two weeks with their new client in Germany to install Eden Version Four and to train fifteen Deckert consultants.
Eden contains templates of good practice examples and automatically captures and preserves the knowledge and experience of key personnel, so that even if they leave, the company will still derive the benefit of their expertise. – I-Net Bridge
