Hyundai Automotive South Africa (Pty) Ltd. (HASA) is introducing the HD72 medium-duty commercial vehicle to the South African market. The HD72 combines a high chassis cab and long wheelbase with bodies manufactured locally to suit South African customer requirements.
Fitted with Hyundai’s D4DA diesel engine, with 114Kw at 3200rpm and 380 Nm at 800rpm, the HD72 will also come with a heater package, tinted glass, electric tachometer, an exhaust brake and a load sensing proportioning valve for safer stopping.
The Hyundai Truck will be distributed and serviced through 14 specialized commercial outlets in South Africa. Cost will be R215 000.
