Chiefs ready for tough Botswana match

Top South African side Kaizer Chiefs are confident of winning the Show You Care Soccer Challenge in Gaborone, Botswana, on Saturday.

Amakhosi will play against Township Rollers — which is one of the Botswana soccer giants — during the inaugural tournament at the National Stadium.

‘We are honoured to be part in this tournament, which is part of the HIV/Aids awareness campaign. Our aim is to hoist the South African flag high by winning the event,” said Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung.

‘We are aware that we will be facing a tough side in Township Rollers, one of the most successful clubs in Botswana. They have won the Super League 11 times and Coca-Cola Cup five times.”

Chiefs were expected to leave for Botswana late on Friday. — Sapa
