South African Tourism hopes to attract visitors by offering them real human contact experience.
Presenting a new strategy for tourism on Wednesday in Kyalami north of Johannesburg, strategic relations manager Chantal Cuddumbey said the new approach demonstrates experiences that South Africa has to offer — real human contact, real answers and joy, which is rooted and natural.
It also focuses on humanity and freedom, awesome sensory impact, real wonder and fusion and beat.
”I am excited about the new strategy because it is true to consumers,” said Cuddumbey.
Reporters were taken on an sensory walkthrough presentation where they were shown the new, energetic proposition of the altered tourism brand.
SA Tourism has also introduced touch screens that will have information on South African tourism destinations.
Cuddumbey said the screens will be rolled out in South African Tourism offices in the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom, at embassies and at travel agencies. — Sapa
