No luck for Bucks

Bush Bucks woes continued after losing 4-2 to Wits University in a Premier Soccer League match played at the Bidvest Stadium on Friday night.

Wits led 2-0 at half-time.

Wits’ Jonathan Solomons intended cross resulted in the home side’s first goal in the 14th minute. Sydney Nkalanga added Wits’ second seven minutes later.

Bucks pulled one back in the 57th minute through Agent Sawu. However, Solomons scored his brace in the 75th minute to give the ”Clever Boys” a two-goal cushion.

Three minutes later, Wits’ Sipho Mngomezulu completed Bucks’ misery.

Sawu got his second in the 82nd minute but it was too little, too late.

Bottom-of-the-log Bush Bucks on 14 points have suffered several defeats recently despite appointing top-notch coach Bruce Grobbelaar.
