United held to draw in entertaining match

Supersport United were held to a 1-1 draw by Dynamos in an entertaining Castle Premier League clash played at Loftus on Saturday.

United opened the scoring in the 22nd minute from the header of veteran defender Themba Mnguni, who was at the end of a corner kick taken by Tony Tsabedze.

United, who dominated the proceedings for the better part of the game, were unlucky to go to the break with a 1-0 lead as Tsabedze’s free-kick rebounded off the cross-bar with Dynamos goalkeeper beaten.

Dynamos earned themselves a late equaliser with two minutes remaining on the clock when midfielder Ntokozo Sikhakhane converted from the penalty spot after Cavann Sibeko handled in the box. — Sapa
