‘Beauty and the Beast’ is fun for everyone

‘Beauty and the Beast’ is fun for everyone

A popular fairy tale is being staged at the Peoples Theatre in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, and promises to be real festive fun for the school holidays.

So grab your friends, parents and family and go and see Beauty and the Beast.

The classic tale tells the story about the Duke who picks a rose from the Beast’s garden for his daughter, Beauty. The Beast catches him and makes him promise that he will send his daughter to live with him when she is older. The Duke sends her to the Beast, they fall in love, and, in true fairy tale fashion, live happily ever after.

This production allows children to sing along and meet the characters. The result is a fun-filled adventure and good holiday entertainment for the whole family.

Performances of Beauty and the Beast run from Monday to Friday at 9am and 11am and on Saturdays and in school holidays at 10:00am and 2.30pm.

Tickets are available at Computicket or through the Peoples Theatre. They cost R20 for Kids Clubs members, R28 for friends and family who come with Kids Club members and R35 for everyone else. Beauty and the Beast runs from Monday November 5 to Monday December 24. Block and party bookings are available through the theatre. Peoples Theatre: (011) 403-3408
