Former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon, who has been comatose in a Jerusalem hospital since suffering a stroke in January, will be moved next week to a rehabilitation clinic, an official said.
”Sharon is going to move to the Sheba Medical Centre at the beginning of next week,” Yael Bosem Levy, a spokesperson for the Hadassah hospital, where he is being treated, told Agence France-Presse.
”Probably its going to be on Sunday, but we are not sure when yet,” she added.
The spokesperson said there was no specific reason for Sharon’s move to the rehabilitation centre in Tel Aviv, which has been on the cards for sometime, other than that doctors decided with the family that now was the appropriate moment. — AFP
