A bomb in a market killed 17 people and wounded 27 in the northern Iraqi city of Tal Afar on Monday, local police said.
Police in nearby Mosul said the blast was caused by a suicide attacker who blew himself up.
Earlier on Monday, a suicide car bomber killed 13 people at a police recruitment centre in Iraq’s Sunni insurgent stronghold of Ramadi, west of Baghdad.
