Springbok coach Jake White has made three changes to his starting line-up for Saturday’s second Test against England at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
Bulls wing Akona Ndungane replaces Ashwin Willemse in the number 14 jersey, while the other two changes are in the front row where props CJ van der Linde and Gurthro Steenkamp replace BJ Botha and Deon Carstens respectively.
Bulls number eight Danie Rossouw retains his place at the back of the scrum despite an indifferent performance against the English in Bloemfontein.
Ricky Januarie also keeps Ruan Pienaar out of the starting team for the second week in a row. Pienaar, like form eighthman Pierre Spies, was one of the Boks stars when he came off the bench last weekend.
Deon Carstens, Wynand Olivier, Rossouw and Willemse all recovered from colds earlier in the week to make the match 22.
Veteran prop Os du Randt as well as centre Jaque Fourie were not considered because of injury. Neither was BJ Botha, who is struggling with a shoulder injury.
