Alexander Forbes group chief executive Peter Moyo has resigned because of differences with the board of directors, the company said on Monday.
”Despite best efforts of the board to convince Peter to stay at the helm of the company, he has decided to leave the group as a result of differences with the board.”
Moyo will leave the financial services company on December 31.
He thanked his team and staff for their support during his tenure as chief executive.
”I’ve enjoyed working with the team through some challenging and exciting times,” he said.
The company said moves to find a successor for Moyo are under way. — Sapa
