Two men were injured when an unidentified man shot at them in a News Café on Rivonia Boulevard in Johannesburg on Sunday, paramedics said.
”A man was found lying on the floor by the door at News Café around 6pm. He had gunshot wounds on both his legs, his head, chest and arm,” said spokesperson Werner Vermaak.
He was stabilised and rushed to a nearby hospital in a serious but stable condition, he said.
His friend, an off-duty paramedic, was also taken to hospital after his arm was grazed by a stray bullet.
The pair was sitting in the restaurant when an unidentified man accosted them and started shooting before fleeing the scene, said Vermaak. – Sapa
