Springbok great Andre Venter will present the jerseys to the Springbok match 22 for Saturday’s Test against Wales at Vodacom Park in Bloemfontein.
The jersey ceremony will take place on Friday morning.
Venter played 66 Tests for the Boks, and during his glittering career was regarded as one of the world’s finest loose forwards.
”Andre was the obvious choice to present the jerseys to the guys,” said Springbok coach Peter de Villiers. ”We are very honoured that he accepted our invitation.
”He was the model Springbok during his career, and his bravery and courage in dealing with the tough cards life has dealt him since his retirement [he has been confined to a wheelchair after a viral infection] serve as inspiration to us all.
