Opener Gautam Gambhir hit an unbeaten century to steer India to a seven-wicket win over Bangladesh in the final round-robin match of a triangular one-day series on Thursday.
India will play old rivals Pakistan in Saturday’s final.
Gambhir and Sehwag led India to an easy victory as the team reached their target of 223 with 14.5 overs to spare.
Gambhir made 107, his fifth one-day century, while his opening partner, Virender Sehwag, hit 59 to post his 11th half-century.
Earlier, Roqibul Hassan scored a career-best 89 in Bangladesh’s 222 all out.
Pace bowlers RP Singh and Irfan Pathan took 3-46 and 2-48 respectively. — Reuters
