ANC gears up for weekend of campaigning

The African National Congress (ANC) will intensify its campaigning for the elections over the weekend, it said in Johannesburg on Friday.

Its aim would be to ensure that voters fully grasped the message of its manifesto, said ANC head of organising and campaigns Fikile Mbalula.

He said the ANC would hold manifesto rallies in the Eastern Cape, North West, Limpopo and the Northern Cape over the weekend.

It had already held manifesto launches in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.

”We are in the process of having a conversation with voters to popularise the ANC manifesto so that we give the voters an opportunity to make an informed decision on who to vote for.

”Thus far, we are making inroads into all areas of South Africa and our message is well received by the majority of people we come into contact with.” — Sapa
