Advocate Barbie reveals how she became a ‘cheap woman’

Cezanne Visser, better known as Advocate Barbie, on Thursday told how she had allowed herself to be transformed from a prudish virgin into a ”cheap woman” with enormous fake breasts.

She did this because she ”idolised” her lover Dirk Prinsloo and would have done anything to please him, Visser told the Pretoria High Court.

Visser took the stand for the first time in her child sex and pornography trial on Thursday.

Visser, dressed in a demure, ivory-coloured pants suit, twice burst into tears as she told the court in graphic detail of her relationship with Prinsloo, which started when she was a 24-year-old virgin and ended with her facing 14 criminal charges.

Visser has pleaded not guilty to the charges ranging from rape and indecent assault to fraud and manufacturing child pornography, claiming Prinsloo had controlled her to such an extent that she had no will of her own.

She testified that she had a normal childhood, although as an only child she always had to keep the peace between her mother and physically aggressive father.

She did extremely well at school and obtained two law degrees with distinction, but never had any serious relationships with men.

She was devastated when she failed her bar exam following her first failed romantic relationship and was delighted when Prinsloo, who was the chairperson of the Independent Bar, allowed her to join and gave her work.

He soon started making romantic advances and in their first sexual encounter she gave him oral sex after he showed her the pornographic video Debby does Dallas so that she could learn how it was done.

He made it clear that he measured women according to their willingness and ability to perform oral sex on him, she said.

He also started buying her extravagant gifts, including her first ever g-string and skimpy clothes, and gave her money to improve her looks.

She moved in with him within a month after meeting him and lost her virginity to him at the age of 24 on their first night together, although she described the sex as ”cold” and ”brutal”.

According to Visser, she went along with him because her self-image was not very good at that stage and Prinsloo made her feel pretty.

”If you look in the mirror and you see an ugly duckling and someone tells you you’re a swan, you start believing it.

”He said I was an uncut diamond and he would change me into something pretty,” she testified.

”I made him believe I enjoyed sex because it was very important for me to please him. It became an obsession to please Dirk. That was my motivation.”

Visser also revealed that Prinsloo had from the start watched pornographic movies over breakfast.

She watched with him because she never said no to him and ”it made her feel good when she pleased him”.

Visser received her first tattoo on her lower back shortly after moving in with Prinsloo, followed by two breast enlargements, which she had after he told her he wanted her to be a model.

Even though she ”could not sing to save her life”, she appeared on the talent show Idols at Prinsloo’s insistence and thereafter appeared in a television talk show clad only in a skimpy bikini.

Asked why she had changed from a ”prudish virgin into a cheap girl”, she said: ”I can’t really give an explanation why it happened. It was a very quick change in my life.

”I idolised this man Dirk and I thought what he was doing for me was good and right.”

She said she was ”frightened” of being without Prinsloo, who had a quick temper and used to sleep with a revolver and a hunting knife under his pillow.
