Scholarships to top schools

In recent years, many ambitious and talented professionals have been awarded scholarships by visiting the QS World MBA and Grad School Fairs.

Quacquarelli Symonds, the career and education experts, and organisers of the QS World MBA and Grad School Tours, has announced that more than $1.6-million worth of scholarships will be awarded to attendees of its 2009 international fairs.

The scholarships are also open to participants attending the Johannesburg fair scheduled to take place on April 1 at the Sandton Sun Hotel.

Nunzio Quacquarelli, managing director of QS and the World MBA and Grad School Tours, says: ‘It is testament to the faith the world’s leading business schools have in the success of the QS Tours that even during this economic downturn, when schools are understandably cautious about their Scholarships and other finances, the amount of scholarship funding they have made available on the QS Tours in 2009 has increased from last year by almost 50%.

We know that more and more people are considering using the economic downturn as a chance to further their education and to put themselves in a stronger position on the other side of the recession. ‘For South Africans, visiting the QS MBA fair in Johannesburg is the ideal place to start as it also allows attendees to apply for those scholarships.”

In recent years, many ambitious and talented professionals have been awarded scholarships by visiting the QS World MBA and Grad School Fairs.

People from Bulgaria, China, Chile, France, Korea, India, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, the United States and several other countries have seen their scholarship awards further their careers at some of the best schools in the world because they visited the World MBA Grad School fairs. Now South Africans can be added to the list.
