South African IT company Datatec said on Thursday all its units returned to revenue growth during the second half of its financial year and reaffirmed its 2010 fiscal-year forecasts.
“The second half of the current financial year is expected to be sequentially and comparatively better than the first half of the current financial year and the second half of the prior financial year,” the company said.
Datatec, listed in London and Johannesburg and a distributor for companies such as Cisco Systems, said cash generation was strong and margins were steady.
The group kept its guidance for the full year unchanged, with revenue forecast to be $3,7-billion to $4-billion, pre-tax profit of about $44-million and headline earnings per share of about 23 cents. — Reuters
