The Jolly Roger
This popular venue offers a buzzing pub ambience with a selection of nine draught beers, including imported and local beers. Nambitha
Located in South Africa’s most famous township, Nambitha attracts a relatively young crowd but also doubles as a family restaurant. Hamburgers, tramezzinis and toasted sandwiches are offered but so are Sowetan staples like mogodu (tripe) and lamb chops. Prices range from R33 to R65. Kwaito superstar Mandoza has been spotted there several times.
