Royal Bafokeng Stadium

The Royal Bafokeng Stadium is used for rugby, soccer and athletics and was originally built for the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

The stadium is named after the local Bafokeng clan and received only minor upgrades for the Soccer World Cup. The stadium can hold 44 000 spectators and was built in a saddle shape to reflect its natural surroundings. The stadium will host four group matches during the tournament.
