A world of MBAs comes to Jo’burg

The QS World MBA Tour arrives in Johannesburg on April 19.

QS links graduate, MBA and executive communities around the world.

Last year 420 business schools travelled with the tour and generated more than 75 000 MBA applicants.

The Johannesburg MBA Fair will provide prospective MBA applicants with the chance of meeting representatives of business schools in South Africa and around the world.

The event aims to help candidates make informed education choices.

The first 100 visitors to the Johannesburg Fair will receive a free copy of the QS TopMBA career guide, which features business school profiles, interviews with employers and advice on applying and career planning.

Those attending the fair are eligible to apply for QS World MBA Tour scholarships from schools such as Chicago GSB, Wharton, IE, MIP, Ashridge and many more.

Visitors to the fair can participate in free seminars covering essential MBA issues such as financing an MBA and preparing a winning application.

Admissions directors from Rotterdam, IMD, Durham and Wits Business School will be on hand to advise visitors. Crispin Sonn of the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business will present a seminar at the fair, and the Gordon Institute of Business Science’s Professor Nick Binedell will hold a master class.
