SAA cancels flights to and from London, Germany

South African Airways (SAA) has cancelled all of its flights between South Africa, London, Frankfurt and Munich scheduled to have departed on Tuesday.

The following flights were cancelled on Tuesday:

From South Africa:

  • SA234 Johannesburg to London
  • SA236 Johannesburg to London
  • SA220 Cape Town to London
  • SA3236 Johannesburg to London
  • SA260 Johannesburg to Frankfurt
  • SA264 Johannesburg to Munich

From the United Kingdom:

  • SA235 London to Johannesburg
  • SA221 London to Cape Town
  • SA3237 London to Johannesburg

From Europe:

  • SA261 Frankfurt to Johannesburg
  • SA265 Munich to Johannesburg

SAA said it is monitoring the situation in conjunction with European Air Traffic and will resume operations between South African, the UK and Europe as soon as conditions are deemed safe for air travel.
