Tips for Pravin

You can't send "Tips to Trevor" any more, but Pravin Gordhan is keeping the tradition alive.

Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan has asked South Africans to send in tips on how the country might achieve a 7% growth rate over the next 20 years, as well as how we can reduce poverty and unemployment.

The campaign was started by previous finance minister Trevor Manuel and has been continued by Gordhan.

If you have tips to share, you can “Like” Pravin Gordhan’s Facebook page and submit tips (the suggestions are already interesting), or you can follow a more traditional route and mail them to Private Bag X115, Pretoria, 0001. You can fax tips to 012 315 5126, or enter tips on www.treasury.gov.za and look for the “Budget Tips” section.

The Budget Tips campaign is to run throughout the year.
