South Africa’s new vehicle sales increased by 18,6% year-on-year in January to 45 135 units, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) said on Wednesday.
When sales from Associated Motor Holdings and Amalgamated Automobile Distributors — which report separately — are stripped out, sales rose by 14,15% to 38 934 vehicles, compared with January last year, Naamsa said. — Reuters
