My Funny Valentine is the bubbly cabaret starring effervescent singer/actor duo Belinda Dolphin and Jaziel Vaugh’hann that enjoys one show only at spirited independent theatre The Rhumbelow this week.
Love is in the air as are many of the most romantic songs from the pop firmament as Dolphin and Vaugh’hann leave no stone unturned as they breathe new life into some of the most shamelessly sentimental songs of all time. From the classic sounds of Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand and Bryan Adams to more contemporary crooners such as Robbie Williams and Lady Anthebelum, the show is a sweet serenade to the most romantic time of the year.
Rhumbelow Theatre, 22 Cunningham Avenue, off Bartle Road. Sunday February 13. Doors open 90 minutes before the show’s 6.30pm curtain call, so pack a picnic and make use of the braai fires provided. There is a cash bar open on the night. Tickets are R100 through Computicket. Tel: 031 205 7602 / 082 499 8636. Email [email protected] or visit www.rhumbelow.za.net
