Sony says it aims to fully restore its PlayStation Network, shut down after a massive security breach, by the end of May.
Satoshi Fukuoka, a spokesperson for Sony Computer Entertainment, said on Tuesday a probe into a recent hacker attack on the network is ongoing. He declined to give details.
Sony shut down the network, a system that links gamers worldwide in live play, on April 20 after discovering the security breach. Sony said the network intrusion has compromised personal data from over 100-million online accounts. — Sapa-AP
