Win Tickets To See The Importance Of Being Earnest

Ster Kinekor’s Cinema Nouveau is bringing celebrated Irish author and playwright Oscar Wilde’s most revered play, The Importance of Being Earnest to South African screens from June 18 2011.

For four nights only, audiences can experience this theatre production in high definition, straight from Broadway.

Cinema Nouveau is giving away two sets of double tickets to Jo’burg readers to watch this farcical and comedic masterpiece about class, courtship and good old-fashioned name dropping. Dashing men-about-town John Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff pursue fair ladies Gwendolen Fairfax and Cecily Cardew. Matters are complicated by the imaginary characters invented by both men to cover their on-the-sly activities — not to mention the disapproval of Gwendolen’s mother, the formidable Lady Bracknell.

Catch this trivial comedy for serious people at any of the Cinema Nouveau theatres in Jo’burg, Pretoria, Durban or Cape Town this Sunday. If you don’t win, book now at Ster Kinekor or call 082 16789.

The show will be screened at Cinema Nouveau theatres on June 18, June 22 and June 23 at 7.45pm, and on June 19 at 2.30pm.
