BID NOTICE: SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF A TOMATO PACKAGING MACHINE

Oxfam Italia in the framework of the Support Programme to Decentralisation and Local Development Policies in South Africa – NetsAfrica, which is financed by the Italian Foreign Ministry, the Government of Tuscany hereby invites tenders from qualified and experienced manufacturers of Tomato Pack Lines to supply and install a Packaging Machine capable of handling up to 3 Tons of tomatoes per hour. The machine must be adjustable to future expansion to handle higher volumes without losing any original equipment, must have low maintenance and should be easily serviceable.
Participation in tendering is open on equal terms to natural and legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping [consortium] of tenderers). Tenderers must provide evidence of their legal status.
A copy of the list with the eligibility requirements and the reasons for exclusion will be obtained freely from Ms Mary Gladys Mondliwa; OXFAM Italia- NETSAFRICA Programme Secretariat- Eastern Cape Province Office; 30 Princess Drive; Bonza Bay; East London. However, detailed specifications will be available in the Bid documents, which may be obtained for an amount of a non- refundable R200 also at the above-mentioned address.
Tenders must be submitted in the manner proposed within the Tender dossier and put in a sealed envelope not later than the 10th August 2011 (before 12:00pm in) to the above address, after which a Public Opening Session shall be held.
