Fourie du Preez has Australia’s Genia all aquiver

Australia’s Will Genia says he will be lining up against the best scrumhalf he’s seen “by far” if, as expected, Fourie du Preez returns to South Africa’s line-up for Saturday’s Tri-Nations test in Durban.

Genia says Du Preez, set to be one of a host of frontline players recalled by the Springboks, makes “a massive difference” to South Africa as he “always makes the right decision and controls a game very, very well”.

Genia also says the Wallabies’ defence in their 30-14 loss in New Zealand last weeked was “pretty poor”.

Australia and South Africa will now both announce their teams on Thursday for the game at King’s Park after a number of injury doubts led the Boks to delay Tuesday’s planned announcement. — Sapa-AP
