Mukunda Michael Dewil cut his teeth in the commercials world, directing campaigns for some of the leading agencies in the world, including Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and JWT.
He received numerous local and international awards for his work.
His first feature film is Retribution, starring Joe Mafela and Jeremy Crutchley and is
being released by the NFVF through United International Pictures.
His screenwriting career has been equally notable, with his latest script Vehicle 19 landing on Hollywood’s 2010 Hitlist for the top screenplays of the year. It begins shooting in Johannesburg in August 2011 and stars Paul Walker (Fast Five). He will direct.
