? Part of his sojourn includes a performance with a band comprising some of KwaZulu-Natal’s finest musicians. The ensemble features Washington on tenor sax, flute and oboe; Leon Scharnick on tenor sax and flute; Sakhile Simani on trumpet; Nondumiso Shezi on vocals; Neil Gonsalves on piano; Ildo Nandja on bass guitar; and S’bu Zondi on drums.

? Enjoy an afternoon of opera and song in Pietermaritzburg with the talented young local soprano Fae Evelyn, who performs with acclaimed concert pianist Christopher Duigan and a guest baritone. Evelyn is completing her master’s of music degree at the Royal Northern College of Music in the United Kingdom under the tutelage of internationally renowned soprano Sandra Dugdale.
