Nigerian artists took the lion’s share of the prizes at the Channel O Music Video Awards this weekend. 
The awards ceremony took place on Friday at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. 
South African artists Lira, HHP, Teargas and Liquideep also took home awards.
Last year’s award ceremony was also dominated by South African and Nigerian artists, and Nigerian artists have been the big winners every year since the awards were first held in 2005. 
Winners are chosen by Channel O viewers across Africa.
