There's high drama at the Mandela household. Where does Mandla get his power
We'll kick off the show this week with an update on Nelson Mandela's health. There's high drama playing out in the Mandela household, with new court cases and seemingly tense family meetings. We'll ask Mail & Guardian's associate editor Phillip de Wet about what we can expect from South Africa's most famous family in the coming week.
One of the foreign media's pet topics seems to be South Africa's black people and what the country's white people might face from them once Madiba dies. Mmanaledi will discuss these reports and why they come across as misplaced.
The M&G's Zimbabwe editor, Teldah Mawarire, will give us the lowdown on what's happening in our northern neighbour. Two factions of the Movement for Democratic Change that initially split up seem keen to join forces ahead of Zimbabwe's much talked about elections.
Need to have your say? Feel free to drop us a tweet or comment and we'll discuss your thoughts.
We'll do a round-up of the week's news and what to expect in the next seven days.
The show's instalment Weekly Choon and two other tracks will be dedicated to the father of our nation. We'll keep it local with two South African songs, and the last will be a song about Madiba by a famous Mali musician. Tweet us if you can guess what the song is and who it's by.
