Join Joburg Ballet after the performance of Coppélia on Saturday March 15 to knit blankets in aid of a charity cause.
Coppélia tells the story of an old toymaker who believes he has breathed life into his beautiful mechanical doll.
The knit-a-thon initiative, which follows Coppélia, was created by Joburg Ballet patron Carolyn Steyn, and aims to sew blankets ahead of winter.
This initiative, according to Joburg Ballet, "celebrates the spirit of Nelson Mandela" and honours "the legacy of Madiba".
Donations of wool and needles are welcome.
