Minister Patricia De Lille says government is capable of turning the tide.
The DA’s Cape Metro caucus has recommended that Patricia de Lille be removed as the mayor of Cape Town.
“Patricia De Lille has lost the confidence of the Metro Executive, the relevant political authority,” metro leader Grant Twigg told IOL. “We are of the view that the City of Cape Town requires stability, unity and functionality – which we believe she cannot deliver.”
De Lille has been in the position since 2011.
