Independent Media And Caxton Fined Millions By Competition Commission

Media companies Independent Media and Caxton have pleaded guilty to price fixing and fixing of trading conditions, agreeing to pay fines totalling nearly R8 million.

Independent prints titles including The Star, Isolezwe, The Cape Argus and Daily News. Caxton owns a number of community newspapers and The Citizen.
