Steve Kretzmann is a journalist who learnt the ropes at East Cape News in Grahamstown before establishing the online news agency West Cape News in 2006 as a platform for trainee reporters to get into the print media industry. He has published news and feature in all regional and national newspapers, as well as The Guardian and the Daily Mail in the UK. He also established the theatre reviewing site The Critter to sate his enjoyment of the performing arts. He studied journalism and photography at Rhodes University in the mid-’90s.
