Eskom downscales to stage one load-shedding

Eskom said on Friday it was downscaling the current bout of load-shedding which has been in place since Tuesday, to stage one from stage two because of lower demand going into the weekend.

The power utility said in a statement load-shedding would be halted altogether at 5am on Monday.
