Bosasa Operations, a diversified BEE company with state contracts worth more than R2-billion, has been threatened with an application for liquidation by a small building contractor. Cross Atlantic Properties 39 says the controversial outfit owes it more than R500 000 for work done at the home of Bosasa’s group operations coordinator, Angelo Agrizzi.

Insecurity in eastern Chad is worsening as President Idriss Déby Itno’s armed forces battle rebels on several fronts. All copies of a new book that notorious apartheid murderer Eugene de Kock believes defames him and harms both his dignity and his reputation are being withdrawn from bookshops. This follows a Pretoria High Court interim order two weeks ago after De Kock applied to the court to halt further sales of the book, White Power and the Rise and Fall of the National Party.
